Hampshire Market Garden

We grow delicious, seasonal vegetables and fruit on a fully organic farm in Hampshire, from where we deliver veg boxes to Hampshire residents and supply local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants with the freshest of local produce.  We are delighted to take part in the Winchester Food Festival for a second year, which will help us meet more veg lovers and introduce everyone to our fantastic produce.

Hampshire Market Garden started during lockdown in 2020 to help homebound residents get easier access to healthy fruit and veg.  Our team has over 60 years of experience in growing veg, selling local produce and working in sustainable food. The veg box scheme gets locally-grown produce to Hampshire homes, reducing transportation and packaging and therefore reducing emissions through the supply chain, unlike big supermarkets that have come to dominate food sales.

Buying local food also supports those that grow it and strengthens the local economy.  And if all that wasn’t enough, local food is fresher, tastier and more nutritious as it is harvested at the time of peak ripeness to maximise flavour and nutritional content. At Hampshire Market Garden we encourage our community to get involved in supporting local growers, understanding the field-to-table process and of good food growing methods and practices. All our food is organic and we never use chemicals in the growing, washing or preparation stages of food production.  We also use zero or very limited packaging and deliver to your door in our fully electric van.
